Ghost/Shadow People Experiences?

If anyone has had one please share. Here's my most notable two.

One time I was walking down the hall and then I looked into my atrium and there was a shadow person in the shape of a black trench coat floating there with no hands, legs, or head but it was fastened where the hands, waist and everything else should have been. However, where the eyes would have been on a person, there were red glowing eyes floating above the shadow person's coat. I locked "eyes" or whatever those were with it and then I got scared (I was 11 at the time) and ran back into the hallway only to come back and there to be nothing but thin air where it was.

I was about to record the audio of something, and about 4 seconds before it plays, I hear a voice with a British accent whisper, "Stab skin them". It scars the hell out of me but I can't let something like that go.

A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object. It is not a paranormal entity. Ghosts if they exist are non-physical, thus cannot cast shadows. Being 11 years old I would suggest it was a dream, or something you saw on TV, in a book or similar, and you have confabulated that into a memory.

EVPs can be rationally explained as auditory pareidolia. Recording devices are designed and calibrated to record sound waves which are again are a physical, mechanical thing. They are not made to record unknown phenomena from outside of the physical universe.

Even if, on the off chance you did record a "ghost", you have no way of confirming if it was a ghost or something else. You can't calibrate a device to detect something specific when you have no reference standard.

Don't let an EVP scare you. They are the stuff of rubbish TV ghost shows and so-called paranormal investigators. There are millions of mundane earthly electronic devices that fill the airways 24/7. It is far more probable that these are the source of your EVP.
